Presenter

Mackenzie Cervenka, MD, is a Professor of Neurology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia and received her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She then completed neurology residency training at the University of Maryland Medical Center followed by a 2 year fellowship in epilepsy at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. As a faculty member of the Johns Hopkins Department of Neurology, Dr. Cervenka is Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Adult Epilepsy Diet Center and the Johns Hopkins Adult Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Her clinical research focuses on the feasibility, safety, and efficacy of ketogenic diet therapies in the management of adults with epilepsy and refractory status epilepticus as well as other neurologic disorders.
